IDCARE may collect sensitive information during the Cyber First Aid (CFA) process. This may include information about browser history, logs, and images to better understand the events that occurred while your device was accessed.
To provide support, we will use third-party software, including screen sharing and data collection tools, solely for CFA purposes.
IDCARE handles your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Privacy Act 2020 (NZ). The collection of personal and sensitive information will be limited to what is reasonably necessary to deliver effective CFA services. Your information is stored securely within IDCARE’s systems which are protected by encryption, access is restricted to authorised personnel and other security measures are in place to reduce the risk of misuse. IDCARE may disclose your information to emergency services or law enforcement, where there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, if required or authorised by law as outlined in the Privacy Act 2988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles. Additionally, IDCARE's data may be used for research and analysis purposes, however, any data used will be completely de-identified first, meaning it cannot be linked back to you.
You may withdraw consent at any time during the service; however, doing so may limit IDCARE’s ability to provide CFA services.
