IDCARE’s wellbeing support service may involve discussions relating to your health and wellbeing. Meaning that IDCARE may collect relevant health or sensitive information in order to provide appropriate support recommendations. Information may include self-disclosed diagnoses, medications and current support needs.
The collection of personal and sensitive information will be limited to what is reasonably necessary to deliver your wellbeing session and is used to shape the advice and recommendations provided by the wellbeing support team. Everything discussed is confidential, with the exception being that IDCARE may disclose your information to emergency services or law enforcement, where there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, if required or authorised by law as outlined in the Privacy Act 2988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles. Additionally, IDCARE's data may be used for research and analysis purposes, however, any data used will be completely de-identified first, meaning it cannot be linked back to you.
Providing this information is voluntary. You can choose what you share, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Under the Australian Privacy Principles 5, you can request access or correction to your information. Please ask our CPSC staff members on how to go about submitting this request.
