Evaluation of IDCARE’s Impact on Repeat Cybercrime Victimisation

IDCARE has welcomed the findings of a major new research study examining the impact of specialist cyber support on repeat cybercrime victimisation. The research, conducted by Victoria Police with support from the Australian Government, found that people who received support from IDCARE were significantly less likely to experience repeat cybercrime incidents. The research highlights the important role specialist support services play in helping Australians recover from cybercrime and reduce future risk.
